RIVERSIDE, CA – Recognizing his commitment to advancing women’s rights and protecting their reproductive health, today the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest has announced their endorsement of Jose Medina for Assembly.
“Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest is proud to endorse a proven leader and a champion of accessible women’s health care, Jose Medina, for the 61st State Assembly district,” said Julie Bornstein, Action Fund Board Chair. “Women trust Jose Medina to protect and strengthen our personal choices, our families, and our communities.”
A native and lifelong resident of California, Jose Medina understands that while other states are aggressively working to limit a woman’s access to reproductive health care, California must lead the way in protecting women’s health. Jose is committed to advocating for women on issues from healthcare to equal pay, as well as the right to choose.

RIVERSIDE, CA - Today, the Jose Medina for Assembly campaign announced that it received the endorsement of the United Domestic Workers.

A Riverside Unified School District teacher, Jose Medina is the Democratic candidate in the race for the 61st Assembly District. He is backed by a bipartisan base of elected leaders, and leaders in labor, business, and public safety. The 61st Assembly District includes Riverside, Highgrove, Perris, Mead Valley, Moreno Valley, and March Air Reserve Base. The California Legislative Latino Caucus and the California Democratic Party have identified Medina's race as a top priority in 2012.
